Leighton Green Cypress has been most commonly used as Christmas trees. The foliage of this tree is a dark forest green. It has a fuller and more dense appearance than other Leyland Cypresses.

Leyland Cypress is more loosley branched and has slightly more irregular lateral branches with sage green foliage.
